For the fourth year in a row, the Town of Chesapeake City will be participating in Maryland’s Day to Serve, which is coordinated through the Governor’s Office of Community Initiative. Maryland’s Day to Serve Event will take place from September 11, 2017 through October 10, 2017. The Town of Chesapeake City will participate in the following ways.

Sept. 11-Oct. 10, 2017 Chesapeake City Town-wide Food, Clothing, and New/Gently Used Toy Drive. All donations will go to the Chesapeake City Ecumenical Association. Drop off locations are: Town Hall- 108 Bohemia Ave, and CCEA Complex- 227 Basil Ave. You can drop items off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am – 12 noon.

Mon. Sept. 11, 2017 The Chesapeake City Ecumenical Association in conjunction with the Town of Chesapeake City will hold a 9/11 Tribute Service at 6:30 pm in Pell Gardens. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the CCEA Food Pantry.

Sat. Sept. 16, 2017 Chesapeake City Town-wide (North and South Side) Clean-up Day. This will be coordinated by Councilman Frank Vari.
