Kent County Sheriff Makes Drug Arrest

On August 22, 2017 at approximately 1:48 AM, Corporal Maloney of the Kent County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle described as a white Dodge Ram for speeding on Route 301 in Kent County, Maryland. Both the driver and passenger were arrested following a K-9 scan and positive alert for the presence of drugs. As a result of the search of the vehicle and occupants, a large quantity of heroin and cocaine along with several prescription pills were seized by Sheriff’s Deputies. Assisting in the arrest was K-9 Handler, Dfc. Travis Manning and his partner, K-9 Tyson.

The driver of the Dodge Ram has been identified as Sarah Ann Lettich, 20 years of age, with an address of Middletown, Delaware. The passenger has been identified as Alexis Diane Morgan, 18 years of age, with an address of Millington, Maryland. Both the driver and the passenger have been charged with CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute and other drug related charges.
