Aidan Sullivan – Shoreman of the Week
Sophomore swimmer Aidan Sullivan (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal School) is this week’s Shoreman of the Week. Sullivan played a role in three first-place finishes in a win over Salisbury Wednesday and swam on a pool-record relay team against 24th-ranked Swarthmore Saturday.
In a 142-63 win over Salisbury Wednesday, Sullivan won the 200 freestyle in 1:46.53 and the 100 freestyle in 48.19. He also swam the butterfly leg of the winning 200 medley relay, which led off the meet with a time of 1:39.95. In a 111-94 loss to Swarthmore Saturday, he swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay team, which finished in a pool-record time of 1:27.26.
Katie Gorman – Shorewoman of the Week
Senior swimmer Katie Gorman (Whippany, N.J./Whippany Park) is this week’s Shorewoman of the Week. Gorman was a part of four first-place finishes in a 1-1 week for the Shorewomen.
In a 138-64 win over Salisbury Wednesday (the Shorewomen’s 31st straight against the Sea Gulls), Gorman won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.31 and swam the second leg of the winning 400 freestyle relay team, which finished in 3:48.86. In a 134-71 loss to Swarthmore Saturday, Gorman won the 50 freestyle in 25.31 and the 100 freestyle in 55.05.
