Kent County, MD – November 2017

The Chestertown Solar Co-op has selected Solar Energy World, the fastest-growing locally owned solar company in Maryland with over 4000 installations since founding in 2009, to install solar panels for the group through a competitive bidding process over four other firms. “We are honored to be awarded this project because we know how thoroughly each proposal was reviewed,” said Chip Zenke, Vice President of Sales at Solar Energy World. “We look forward to helping even more homeowners take advantage of solar power by providing quality panels at a good price.”

Solar United Neighbors expands access to solar by educating Maryland residents about the benefits of distributed solar energy, assisting the organization of group solar installations, and strengthening the state’s solar policies and its community of supporters. Co-op members selected Solar Energy World because of its ability to offer quality components at very competitive prices, and its extensive experience.

The co-op is open to new participants until January 31, 2018. Chestertown Area residents interested in joining the co-op can sign up at the co-op web page.

Joining the co-op is not a commitment to purchase panels however each member will receive a customized proposal from Solar Energy World based on the group rate. By going solar as a group and choosing a single installer, each participant generally saves up to 20% off the cost of their system with the added support of the experts at Solar United Neighbors.

Headquartered in Elkridge Maryland, Solar Energy World is a leading provider and installer of solar electric systems for residential and commercial property owners in the Maryland – DC area. More info at www.SolarEnergyWorld.com
